I assumed the office of nineth Principal of Sri Dhavala College, Moodbidri on 1st March 2024. I really feel blessed to be the leader of an institution which stands for quality and consistency in all its endeavor since its inception.
The college is named as ‘Dhavala’ which is the name of Jaina Aagama, the most authentic and important text of Jaina philosophy and doctrine. The text is devoted to the method of attaining a highest spiritual knowledge that is “Kevala Jnana”. The motive of the institution is to impart right knowledge to lead a fruitful and positive life.
The function of education is to think better and help to develop a perspective and opinion towards life. Besides it enables personal development and promotes economic, technological and social change. It promotes the exchange of knowledge research and innovation and equips students with skill needed to meet the expectations of ever changing job markets.
Over the last 45 years, the college is involved in providing quality education. The enthusiastic management, dedicated and experienced staff, adequate infrastructure and serene campus is helpful in imparting the quality education so as to enable the students to fulfil their ambitions.
I specially seek co-operation from parents, alumni and well-wishers. Their constructive suggestions will take us higher on the ladder of success. Let us work ‘Together’ to attain the goals of the institution because “None of us is as strong as all of us”
